Capacity-Building Services

We help advocacy organizations strengthen their research and evaluation skills so they can design better projects, make evidence-based decisions, and increase their impact.

  • Improving Reports
Do you have a report that feels too technical, unclear, or difficult to communicate?

We help improve the structure, clarity, and accessibility of reports so they are easier for advocates, funders, and the public to understand.

  • Research Proposal Support
Do you have a research idea but aren't sure how to turn it into a strong proposal?

Developing a clear research plan—questions, methods, and expected outcomes—can be challenging. We support organizations in turning ideas into strong research proposals.

  • Survey Design
Want to understand public attitudes or test an advocacy message?

Survey design can be difficult—bias, unclear questions, and poor sampling can make results unreliable. We help design surveys with clear questions and sound methodology so the findings can guide advocacy decisions.

  • Ethical Research Guidance
Planning research/survey that involves the public or vulnerable communities?

Research projects must ensure informed consent, responsible data use, and respectful engagement with participants. We help organizations follow ethical standards and good research practices.

  • Connecting with Experts
Need specialized expertise for a project?

Finding the right researcher or consultant can be difficult due to limited networks, budget constraints, or lack of field-specific knowledge. We help organizations identify and connect with experts who can support their work.

  • Impact Evaluation
Want to know whether your advocacy efforts are actually working?

Impact evaluation can be challenging—especially when it comes to measuring outcomes or attributing change to specific interventions. We help organizations design practical evaluation approaches to understand and improve their impact.

  • Workshops & Training
Want to build research skills within your team?

We run workshops, webinars, and trainings to help advocates learn skills such as survey design, research methods, and interpreting evidence for advocacy.

Research Implementation

Not sure how to apply research to your advocacy?

Research is most impactful when it helps guide real-world decisions. However, many advocacy organizations face barriers when trying to apply research in practice. Findings can feel too technical, difficult to translate into strategy, or not clearly connected to specific advocacy decisions.

We support organizations in interpreting research findings, adapting them to local contexts, and identifying practical next steps for advocacy strategies and campaigns. This may include translating research into campaign ideas, messaging strategies, or program decisions.

Our goal is to ensure research does not remain a report, but becomes a practical tool that informs advocacy decisions.

If you are interested in applying one of our research projects in your work, you can fill out the 2 min feedback forms on the research pageor reach out to us through our contact page.

By sharing our expertise, we aim to help our partners build stronger research and advocacy skills. Our goal is to equip organizations with practical tools and knowledge they can use to improve their strategies and increase their impact.

Because our capacity is limited, we prioritize projects where our support can make the greatest difference. We focus especially on work that has strong potential for impact and supports advocacy efforts in underrepresented regions.

If you’re interested in collaborating on a project, exploring our capacity-building support, or simply connecting, we’d love to hear from you.
